
Gain the skills to detect kicks, shut in the well, monitor pressures, and supervise kill operations with this IWCF Level 3 Driller Well Control training. Includes classroom theory, drilling simulator practice, and IWCF assessment leading to a 2-year IWCF certificate.
Target Group
This course is designed for Drillers and Assistant Drillers (and equivalent rig roles) who are expected to shut in a well and manage well control operations.
Pathway note: IWCF Levels 2–4 are sequential. First-time candidates should complete IWCF Level 2 before moving to Level 3 or Level 4, subject to job experience.
Prerequisites

IWCF pre-registration with a valid 6-digit Candidate Registration (CR) Number

Prior experience in a driller/assistant driller role during drilling operations (recommended)
