BOSIET with CA-EBS (OPITO-approved) is a mandatory entry-level course for personnel who are required to travel and work offshore in the oil and gas industry. The objective of the OPITO BOSIET with CA-EBS course is to introduce learners to safety issues and regulations related to offshore installations, and to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergencies during helicopter travel and offshore work.

The course combines classroom theory with practical simulations, including helicopter safety & escape using CA-EBS, sea survival, basic first aid, fire prevention & firefighting, and self-rescue techniques.

The OPITO-approved BOSIET with CA-EBS certificate is valid for 4 years. The corresponding refresher course is FOET with CA-EBS (Further Offshore Emergency Training with CA-EBS).
