In OPITO course, we have some typical courses such as:

BOSIET with CA EBS (Basic Offshore Safety Introduction and Emergency Training)

The course provides fundamental knowledge and skills in offshore safety, including emergency situations and survival skills at sea, along with the use of CA EBS equipment.

BOER (Basic Offshore Emergency Response)

The BOER course is specifically designed for personnel working on onshore or nearshore energy installations who require essential emergency skills without the helicopter underwater escape (HUET) component.

• • Firefighting Essentials: Practical use of portable extinguishers and basic fire suppression techniques.
  • First Aid & Self-Rescue: Immediate medical response at the scene and safe evacuation procedures.
  • Hazard Awareness: Identification of specific industrial risks, including gas leaks and chemical hazards.
  • Emergency Protocols: Understanding alarm systems and muster station discipline.

MEMIR (Major Emergency Management – Initial Response)

This is a high-level command course designed for Offshore Installation Managers (OIMs), Supervisors, and Emergency Response Team Leaders. It focuses on the psychological and strategic aspects of crisis management.

  • Information Management: Rapidly processing incoming data to maintain an accurate “Common Operating Picture.”
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Evaluating risks and choosing the most effective tactical response to protect life and assets.
  • High-Fidelity Simulation: Candidates undergo realistic, stress-injected scenarios in our Command Center simulator to test their “Initial Response” capabilities.
