PVD Training Inaugurates Pickleball Courts

With support from the Trade Union of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), the sponsorship of two sports courts for the PV Drilling Trade Union has created a vibrant space for fitness, connection, and team spirit—energizing the entire workforce and boosting productivity. This meaningful contribution is a strong source of encouragement for PV Drilling employees.

On August 29, 2025, PVD Training held the Pickleball Court Inauguration Ceremony, attended by:

  • Mr. Vũ Anh Tuấn – Vice Chairman, Petrovietnam Trade Union (representing the sponsor)

  • Mr. Nguyễn Thế Sơn – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, PV Drilling

  • Mr. Hoàng Xuân Bách – Chairman, PV Drilling Trade Union

  • Mr. Lương Thanh Tịnh – Party Cell Secretary, Director of PVD Training (the beneficiary unit)

Also present were Chairpersons of Trade Unions from member units, representatives of PV Drilling’s specialized union committees, department heads and deputies, PVD Training staff, and distinguished guests.

The event not only marked the addition of a new sports facility, but also embodied the spirit of cohesion – dynamism – holistic development across PV Drilling, PVD Training in particular, and Petrovietnam more broadly.

At the ceremony, Mr. Lương Thanh Tịnh, Party Cell Secretary and Director of PVD Training, expressed sincere thanks to the leadership of the Petrovietnam Trade Union, PV Drilling’s Board of Management, and the PV Drilling Trade Union for their support—enabling PVD Training employees to enjoy a healthy, long-term venue for physical exercise right on campus. He affirmed PVD Training’s commitment to utilize the facility effectively, linking health-enhancing sports activities with improvements in quality and business performance—thereby contributing to the shared responsibility and sustainable development of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.

To celebrate the occasion, PVD Training hosted a friendly Pickleball tournament featuring athletes from grassroots trade unions across the Group, including PVN, PVD Well Services, PVD Tech, PVD Offshore, Baker Hughes, the Drilling Division, PVD Training, PVD Tubulars, and others—marking a signature union activity and a notable milestone event for the unit.

Scope of Services

PVD Training’s Firefighting Equipment & System Services comprehensively cover all items related to firefighting equipment and systems used in industrial and offshore environments.

We inspect, maintain, and repair portable and fixed fire extinguishers, including powder extinguishers, CO₂ extinguishers, clean agent extinguishers, and other specialized firefighting equipment. Inspections are conducted to assess the technical condition, operational capability, and safety compliance of each device.

In addition, PVD Training provides maintenance and inspection services for fixed firefighting systems, including water-based firefighting systems, foam (AFFF) systems, gas firefighting systems such as FM200, and equivalent systems. The work includes inspecting the condition of pipes, valves, nozzles, activation devices, and related components to ensure the system can operate effectively in the event of a fire or explosion.

Additionally, the service includes inspection and maintenance of breathing and rescue equipment, such as SCBA and escape aids, to ensure readiness for use in emergency situations.

Scope of Services

E&I services include installation, inspection, connection, and maintenance of low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems, electrical cabinets, electrical cables, and measurement and control equipment. In addition, we provide preventive maintenance, repair maintenance, system calibration, and technical support during system commissioning and acceptance testing.

Implementation Process

E&I activities are carried out according to a clear technical process, including site surveys, risk assessments, construction and maintenance planning, work implementation, and inspection and acceptance. All work is supervised to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
