On July 25, PVD Technical Training JSC (PVD Training)—a member company of PV Drilling—signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), one of the world’s leading professional bodies in accounting, auditing, and finance.
The MoU aims to strengthen workforce training and ensure talent quality in support of PV Drilling’s development—especially as the Corporation advances the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accelerates its sustainability strategy across the Group.
Key areas of cooperation include: developing and delivering internationally aligned programs in safety, accounting, auditing, IFRS, risk management, digital finance, and sustainability for enterprises and clients; co-hosting thematic conferences, webinars, and communications initiatives to raise awareness of the value of international professional certifications.
In addition, PVD Training and ACCA will collaborate on human-capital development for employees, partners, and customers; promote recruitment initiatives that prioritize candidates holding qualifications issued by the two parties; and jointly cultivate high-quality talent for domestic and international markets through training programs and the parties’ networks of businesses, academic partners, and subject-matter experts. This MoU not only marks an important milestone in the relationship between PVD Training and ACCA but also reflects their shared commitment to developing high-caliber human resources in industry, finance, and energy—core strengths of both organizations.
Through this partnership, PVD Training further affirms its strategic direction and its commitment to continuous innovation and quality enhancement—moving toward becoming a leading provider of safety, technical, and workforce-development training for the domestic and international labor markets, thereby contributing to PV Drilling’s overall success.
OPITO Approval for Rigger Initial Training in Vietnam
In July 2025, PVD Training was officially approved by OPITO (Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization) to deliver the Rigger Initial Training course in Vietnam to international standards. Earning the OPITO Rigger Initial certificate not only strengthens learners’ technical competencies but also enhances their career prospects across oil & gas projects, industrial worksites, plants, and ports—both in Vietnam and abroad.
OPITO’s formal recognition further validates PVD Training’s strategy of offering high-quality, internationally benchmarked technical programs, contributing to PV Drilling’s vision of building internal strength and providing comprehensive, specialized services to the energy sector.
