Scaffolding Skills Training Course
This course is designed for candidates who already have practical experience and hold a Level 1 Scaffolding Certificate.
The program aims to equip candidates with the knowledge and skills required to erect, adjust, and dismantle more complex Level 2 scaffolding structures, using commonly applied tube-and-fitting scaffolding systems.
Candidates who successfully complete this course and obtain the certificate are authorized to carry out scaffolding work without direct supervision.
Candidates who require training in Level 2 (Intermediate) scaffolding skills
Candidates holding a Level 1 (Basic Scaffolding) Certificate

Safe working at height
Vietnamese scaffolding standard TCVN 296-04
International scaffolding standards: BS 1139, EN 12811
Types of scaffolding
Identification of scaffolding materials and components
Fall prevention measures
Procedures for erection and dismantling of Level 2 scaffolding
Hazards during Level 2 scaffolding erection and dismantling
Structural firmness and stability (bracing systems, joints, nodal points, etc.)
Design of access, egress, and working platforms
Reading and understanding scaffolding drawings
Design of Level 1 and Level 2 scaffolding drawings
Quantity take-off and material listing for Level 2 scaffolding
Risk assessment
Erection, operation, dismantling, and storage of major scaffolding types, including:
Independent scaffolding
Free-standing scaffolding
Mobile scaffolding
Tank scaffolding
Inclined scaffolding
Deck clamp scaffolding
Safety inspection checklist and tagging system
6 – 12 candidates per course
Minimum age: 18 years old
Medically fit and mentally capable of participating in training activities
