
In construction, industrial, and oil & gas operations, mobile cranes play a critical role in lifting and transporting heavy loads. However, operating such equipment requires a high level of technical competence and strict risk control, as it involves heavy loads, complex working conditions, and potentially hazardous environments.
The Mobile Crane Operator course is designed for beginners or those with limited experience, providing a solid foundation of knowledge and essential practical skills to operate cranes safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current technical standards.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the operating principles and structure of mobile cranes
- Identify different types of cranes and relevant technical terminology
- Read, understand, and interpret load charts
- Perform pre-operational equipment inspections
- Set up the crane and assess hazards at the worksite
- Operate the crane in accordance with safety procedures
- Perform lifting operations using proper techniques
- Apply hand signals and coordinate effectively with riggers/signalmen
- Identify and work safely near power lines
- Perform basic rigging and lifting operations

Entry Requirements
- Basic knowledge of crane operations or relevant work experience
