With the support and accompaniment of the Party Cell, the Management Board, and the Trade Union Executive Committee, on June 17, 2023, the Youth Union of PVD Technical Training Joint Stock Company carried out a charity trip called “Journey of Love” to the highland commune of Da Quyn, Duc Trong District, Lam Dong Province. During this trip, the Company presented 100 gift packages to poor but hardworking students, along with gifts for 30 households facing difficult circumstances in the commune.
In line with the 2023 Youth Union activity plan, and in fulfillment of the company’s social welfare responsibilities toward the community — aimed at supporting and sharing with underprivileged children and poor families — the Youth Union Executive Committee successfully organized this charity program. As the last commune in Duc Trong District, with over 60% of the population being ethnic minorities facing many hardships in daily life and education, Da Quyn was chosen as the destination for PVD Training’s leadership, managers, and Youth Union members to bring their love and care on June 17, 2023.
Dù thời gian di chuyển dài và quãng đường đi lại khó khăn, tuy nhiên bằng sức trẻ, sự nhiệt huyết và tinh thần sáng tạo, không ngại khó ngại khổ của tuổi trẻ Đoàn thanh niên PVD Training, cuộc hành trình được thực hiện khá chỉnh chu và bài bản. Sự thành công của sự kiện là sự chu đáo trong công tác chuẩn bị cho các hoạt động, trò chơi dân gian thú vị và ý nghĩa với rất nhiều món quà tuy nhỏ nhưng là niềm vui to lớn của các bạn nhỏ vùng sâu có nhiều khó khăn, đặc biệt nhất là khu vực “Nấu ăn cho em” với các món ăn, thức uống đã mang đến cho các em nhỏ thật nhiều niềm vui, tiếng cười hân hoan, hạnh phúc.
Despite the long travel time and difficult road conditions, the young members of PVD Training’s Youth Union carried out the journey with great care and professionalism, driven by youthful energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. The success of the event was rooted in thorough preparation, meaningful folk games, and many small but deeply joyful gifts for the children of the remote area. Most notable was the “Cooking for the Children” corner, which brought tremendous joy, laughter, and happiness to the little ones.
The event attracted a large number of children as a truly enriching summer experience. In the spirit of mutual support, gifts including school bags, learning supplies, and daily necessities were presented to 100 poor but resilient students and 30 households in difficult circumstances across the commune. This reflects the strong community culture of PV Drilling in general and PVD Training in particular — contributing to sharing, helping those in need in remote areas, especially the younger generation as the future of the nation, and supporting the broader development of the community and society.
The “Journey of Love” 2023 was a truly meaningful activity, uniting generous hearts toward the goal of bringing good to the community, and marking a successful milestone for the Youth Union in fulfilling its mission in the new term.
