PVD Training Supports Ørsted in Strengthening Offshore Safety Competency

Safety is a fundamental priority for every offshore project. To ensure personnel can work confidently, remain compliant, and respond effectively in high-risk environments, companies need training programs that reflect real operational requirements.

On 15 September 2026, PVD Training was pleased to welcome the Ørsted team to participate in the OPITO HUET with CA-EBS training course at our training centre.

The course helps participants strengthen the essential knowledge and skills required for underwater helicopter escape procedures, the use of the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS), and coordinated response during emergency situations. Through practical exercises, participants have the opportunity to enhance their safety awareness, teamwork, and readiness to respond to challenging offshore working conditions.

In addition, PVD Training provides maintenance and inspection services for fixed firefighting systems, including water-based firefighting systems, foam (AFFF) systems, gas firefighting systems such as FM200, and equivalent systems. The work includes inspecting the condition of pipes, valves, nozzles, activation devices, and related components to ensure the system can operate effectively in the event of a fire or explosion.
